India, May 26 -- Parampara Ayurved founder Dr. Debabrata Sen said mass awareness is needed to help Ayurvedic medicine practice reach all sections of society, and he is fighting a tough battle to bridge the gap.

"I feel that Ayurveda has not been able to touch every section of society at present due to a lack of mass awareness about it," Ayurvedacharya Debabrata Sen told IBNS.

He said his Parampara Ayurved is trying to meet traditional medicines with microbiology, pathology and biochemistry, among others.
