Kolkata/IBNS, Feb. 19 -- West Bengal Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari has hit out at Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee who dared the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA to get hold of himself upon facing a revolt from people of a particular religion.
The confrontation originated in Mamata's reply to the Governor's address at the state legislative assembly on Tuesday.
In counter, Adhikari posted on X, "WB CM @MamataOfficial, let me tell you that your intimidation tactics won't bear any fruits. The veiled threat that you made yesterday on the floor of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, is nothing but a sinister conspiracy to threaten my safety and security. "
