India, Feb. 4 -- Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk on Tuesday took a holy dip in Tribeni Sangam during the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela or the Great Pitcher Festival in Prayagraj, the largest conglomeration of Hindu pilgrims in the world.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accompanied him during the visit.

"Today at Maha Kumbh-2025, Prayagraj, His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan took holy dip at the sacred Triveni Sangam and attained virtue," Adityanath shared the images of himself taking a dip in the water with the king and wrote on X.

The King also fed birds while riding on a boat on the Sangam.
