Chennai/IBNS, March 22 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Saturday said the southern states will have a diminished political strength with a lower representation in Parliament, demanding a "fair delimitation" from the Centre.
Stalin made the remark while addressing the Joint Action Committee meeting which he hosted in Chennai.
"Decreasing our representations in Parliament will reduce our political strength," Stalin said as quoted by The New Indian Express. "This struggle is not against the delimitation but for demanding a fair delimitation."
Stalin had earlier written letters to Chief Ministers from various south Indian states as well as the CMs from West Bengal, Odisha and Punjab.
