New Delhi, Aug. 13 -- In a move set to link India's west coast to Singapore's clean fuel supply chain, L&T Energy GreenTech (LTEG) has teamed up with Japan's ITOCHU Corporation to develop a 300,000-tonne-per-annum green ammonia plant at Kandla, Gujarat.
L&T Energy GreenTech, a wholly owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro Ltd., has signed a Joint Development Agreement with ITOCHU Corporation of Japan to develop and commercialise the large-scale green ammonia project.
Under the agreement, LTEG and ITOCHU will work together on building the facility, with ITOCHU set to offtake the green ammonia for bunkering applications in Singapore.
