Patna/IBNS, Nov. 15 -- Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's daughter, Rohini Acharya, has triggered a major political shock just a day after the party's crushing defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections.

In a dramatic announcement on Saturday, Rohini declared she was quitting politics altogether-and, more shockingly, cutting ties with her own family.

The announcement on X came within hours of the RJD's vote share collapsing, dropping from 75 seats to roughly 25, marking one of the party's worst electoral showings in recent years.
