India, Oct. 26 -- The Andhra Pradesh Police have arrested the driver of the bus that caught fire after meeting with an accident in Kurnool on Friday (October 24, 2025), which led to the death of 20 people.

Miriyala Lakshmaiah, the driver of the bus had fled after the accident and was arrested by a special team, reported Telangana Today.

According to media reports, Lakshmaiah, who studied till class 5, obtained the heavy vehicle license using fake 10th-class certificates.
