New Delhi, Feb. 9 -- Former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and poet Kumar Vishwas, known for his sharp wit, made a sarcastic remark on AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal following the party's electoral debacle, media reports said.

He also ridiculed Manish Sisodia's defeat in Jangpura, recalling how his "apolitical wife" was moved to tears upon hearing the news.

Sisodia, long regarded as Kejriwal's second-in-command, lost to BJP's Tarvinder Singh Marwah by a narrow margin of 675 votes.

Kejriwal himself suffered a stunning defeat in his New Delhi constituency, losing to BJP veteran Parvesh Verma by over 4,000 votes.
