Kolkata/IBNS, Nov. 12 -- Vijaygarh Jyotish Roy College marked its 75th foundation anniversary with a three-day platinum jubilee celebration from October 31 to November 2.

The celebrations began on October 31 with a welcome address by Dr. Rajyasree Neogy and Governing Body President Sandip Nandi Majumdar.

A free health check-up and blood donation camp were organised for local residents. Highlights of the day included a science model competition for school students and a science and handicraft exhibition for college students.

The day concluded with a felicitation ceremony honouring staff members, followed by a performance from the Drama Club.
