India, Jan. 12 -- The Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad witnessed a rare moment of political bonhomie on Monday as Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen flying kites alongside visiting German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
Visuals showed the two leaders flying an "Operation Sindoor"-themed kite, according to The Indian Express.
A kite featuring Lord Hanuman, inspired by Indian cultural motifs, was also flown during the event.
Chancellor Merz is on his first visit to India since assuming office and is currently in the country for a two-day official tour.
