India, April 20 -- Karnataka's former DGP Om Prakash, who was serving in the position from 2015 to 2017, was found dead at his residence in Bengaluru on Sunday, media reports said.

According to reports, his wife Pallavi is the prime suspect in the case.

She has been questioned.

The exact reason behind his death is still not known.

Om Prakash was allegedly stabbed to death, and the murder weapon has been recovered from the scene, reported News 18.
