Mumbai, July 6 -- Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan has taken a subtle yet pointed swipe at luxury fashion house Prada after the brand courted controversy for allegedly copying India's iconic Kolhapuri chappal design.

Her post comes amid a wave of criticism directed at the fashion label for showcasing a pair of leather sandals bearing a striking resemblance to Kolhapuris, yet failing to credit their Indian roots.
