India, April 23 -- Tata Group-owned Air India announced it will operate two additional flights from Srinagar to Delhi and Mumbai on Wednesday, in view of the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir following the terror attack in popular tourist destination Pahalgam, which left 27 people dead.

"In view of the prevailing situation, Air India will operate two additional flights from Srinagar to Delhi and Mumbai on Wednesday, 23rd April."

Booking for these flights is now open, Air India said.

"All our other flights to and from Srinagar will continue to operate as per schedule," the carrier said.
