They wrote on X, March 10 -- Shivan and Narresh, the fashion designers who drew flak for organising an outdoor show in Jammu and Kashmir's Gulmarg during the holy month of Ramzan, have apologised for hosting the event.

"We deeply regret any hurt caused by our recent presentation in Gulmarg during the holy month of Ramadan. Our sole intention was to celebrate creativity and the ski & apres-ski lifestyle, without any desire to offend anyone or any religious sentiments."

Amid sharp criticisms by political leaders in the Valley, the designers said they acknowledged the concerns raised over the fashion show.
