India, April 28 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly on Monday passed a resolution expressing shock and anguish over the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam town that left 26 people, mostly tourists, dead.
The resolution was passed during a special one-day session of the assembly called in the wake of the recent terror strike that drew worldwide condemnation.
The Assembly members resolved to fight and defeat the nefarious designs of disturbing communal harmony and hindering progress, media reports said.
The resolution was moved by UT's Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary.
