India, Nov. 8 -- A nine-year-old girl in Jaipur allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the fourth floor of the Neerja Modi School, reportedly following prolonged bullying, media reports said.

Her mother, Shivani Meena, had recorded an audio message on WhatsApp a year earlier, in which the child was heard saying: "I don't want to go to school... don't send me."

The mother said she shared the audio clip with the teacher, hoping that action would be taken.

She alleged that the class teacher and coordinator ignored her complaints despite repeated attempts to inform them about her daughter's condition.

The minor died on the spot after jumping from the school building on November 1.
