India, Oct. 8 -- India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja's standout performance in the first match of their ICC World Test Championship series against the West Indies in Ahmedabad has helped him reach a career-best 25th position in the ICC Men's Test Batting Rankings.

Jadeja's four wickets in the second innings have also helped him extend his lead at the top of the all-rounders' table by a good 125 points over Bangladesh's Mehidy Hasan.

Fast bowler Mohammed Siraj continued his good work from the England tour, his figures of four for 40 and three for 31 lifting him three places to a career-best 12th position and above the 700-point mark for the first time in his career following India's victory by an innings and 140 runs.
