Kokata, July 16 -- ITC Hotels Ltd reported a 53% year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit for the June quarter, reaching Rs.133.71 crore, up from Rs.87.16 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The growth was attributed to strong performance in room bookings and food services.
Total expenses stood at Rs.674.97 crore, up from Rs.596.41 crore in the same quarter last year.
As of now, the company operates over 200 hotels, with 143 currently operational and another 58 in the pipeline. It aims to reach 220 hotels and more than 20,000 rooms by 2030, according to PTI.
