Brussels/IBNS, June 11 -- India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has described Pakistan as "Terroristan" in demonstrating India's fight against terrorism in the backdrop of the Operation Sindoor, media reports said.

Jaishankar made the remark during his official visit to Brussels.

He addressed a joint press conference with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas.

Jaishankar made the remark in the backdrop of the Operation Sindoor, which was launched by the Indian Armed Forces to bust nine terrorist camps in Pakistan in a bid to avenge the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
