India, Sept. 26 -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday vowed to "finish the job" against Hamas in Gaza, using his address at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) to reject calls for ending the war, media reports said.

In an extraordinary move back home, the Israeli government launched what it described as an "unprecedented operation" to ensure Gazans heard his words.

Additionally, loudspeakers mounted on trucks were deployed along the Israel-Gaza border to broadcast the speech across the Strip.

The address, however, was met with resistance inside the UN hall. Dozens of delegates walked out as Netanyahu began, while shouts echoed through the chamber.
