India, March 30 -- Faf du Plessis smashed 50 runs, and Mitchell Starc picked up five wickets, which helped Delhi Capitals beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets in their Indian Premier League clash on Sunday.
After bowling out the Sunrisers for 163 runs, Delhi batsmen, led by Faf, played sensibly to reach the winning target of 166 runs for the loss of three wickets.
Despite facing a rocket start, the Sunrisers tried to stabilise the innings, banking on star Australian opener Travis Head (22).
However, fellow Australian teammate Starc cut short his innings by picking up his wicket in the fifth over, leaving the Sunrisers struggling at 4-37.
