India, Dec. 23 -- The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for killing six Pakistani soldiers in three separate attacks in the Quetta, Kachhi, and Kech districts, according to media reports.
In a statement to the media, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said fighters carried out a remote-controlled improvised explosive device (IED) attack in the Daghari area on the outskirts of Quetta on Friday, reported The Balochistan Post. The device targeted army personnel "sitting in a gathering after clearing a railway track," killing four soldiers instantly and injuring two others.
