New Delhi/IBNS, Feb. 28 -- Delhi Leader of Opposition Atishi has called the suspension of 21 out of 22 Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs from the assembly "injustice" in a letter to Speaker Vijender Gupta, media reports said.
Atishi is one of the 21 MLAs who have been suspended by the Speaker following AAP's claim that Father of the Constitution BR Ambedkar's portrait was removed from the new Chief Minister's office.
The only AAP MLA who was not suspended was Okhla lawmaker Amanatullah Khan, who was not present at the assembly.
The motion for suspension was moved by Delhi minister Parvesh Verma.
