India, July 25 -- The team of Indian doctors and nurses, who are currently visiting Bangladesh, have started treating patients who suffered burn injuries during a recent fighter jet mishap in the country.

The team arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday.

"The specialised team consists of Doctors and nurses from Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi, which are the two top hospitals in India specialising in burn and plastic surgery", he added.

Bangladeshi nationals have appreciated India's gestures of sending medical experts to the country.
