New Delhi/IBNS, Oct. 9 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said the "growing partnership" of India and the United Kingdom is important for the global stability and economic progress in the era of instability across the world.

Modi made the remarks in a joint statement with the visiting UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, in Mumbai.

Hours after US President Donald Trump announced the first step to the Israel-Gaza peace deal, Modi said he discussed with Starmer on the issues related to global peace and stability.
