New Delhi, June 28 -- India's crude oil imports from Russia are set to reach a two-year high of 2.13 million barrels per day (bpd) in June, buoyed by favourable pricing, provisional data from global analytics firm Kpler has shown, reported Financial Express.
The month-on-month jump in Russian crude volumes is estimated at 14.7%, reinforcing Russia's position as India's top oil supplier.
Following Russia, other key suppliers in June include Iraq, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the United States.
The UAE, in contrast, raised its share by 18% to 542,804 bpd.
US shipments surged 19% to 314,929 bpd, reflecting India's growing appetite for diversifying its crude sources and capitalising on price advantages.
