India, Nov. 17 -- The Indian government's e-Jagriti platform has recorded over two lakh registered users since its launch on January 1, 2025, marking a significant expansion of India's digital consumer grievance redressal system, the Department of Consumer Affairs said.

According to the statement, e-Jagriti has streamlined consumer complaint procedures by reducing paperwork, minimising physical travel and enabling digital documentation, while also improving access for non-resident Indians by removing geographical barriers.
