India, Aug. 2 -- India on Friday said the White House should be asked if President Donald Trump should be given the Nobel Prize for stopping conflicts.
"As far as the statements of the White House are concerned, please take your question to them," MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said during a press conference as quoted by the media.
Levitt was quoted as saying by the media during the press conference: "Now ended conflicts between Thailand and Cambodia, Israel and Iran, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, India and Pakistan, Serbia and Kosovo and Egypt and Ethiopia."
"It's well past time that President Trump was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize," she was quoted as saying.
