India, Feb. 5 -- India ranked fourth in the recently released Global Firepower Index 2025 which showcased the country's military strength on the world stage.
The ranking reflected the strong position India holds in the military sector.
It is just behind the USA (1), Russia (2) and China (3).
South Korea, the United Kingdom, France, Japan, Turkey, and Italy are the other nations which held the top 10 positions on the list.
The Global Firepower Index 2025 website said it evaluated the military powers based on 60 parameters.
On the contrary, Idnia's arch-rival Pakistan slipped from the 9th place in 2024 to stand at the 12th position in the latest ranking.
