New Delhi/IBNS, Aug. 27 -- India has called the killing of journalists in the Israeli airstrikes in Gaza "shocking and deeply regrettable", condemning the loss of lives in the ongoing conflict.
In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has underlined that the South Asian country has always "condemned loss of civilian lives" in any conflict.
At least 20 people including five journalists were killed in two consecutive airstrikes on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza on Monday.
The journalists killed include those working with Reuters, the Associated Press (AP), Al Jazeera, and other agencies.
The Israeli government has said the strikes were meant to hit the Hamas surveillance camera calling the incident a "tragic mishap"....
