India, Nov. 9 -- Indian PM Narendra Modi will visit Bhutan on Tuesday to further strengthen 'special ties of friendship' and cooperation between the two countries and inaugurate a 1020 MW Punatsangchhu-II Hydroelectric Project in the Himalayan nation.

Modi will visit the nation from November 11 to November 12, as per a statement released by the Ministry of External Affairs.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will receive an audience with Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the King of Bhutan, and the two leaders will inaugurate the 1020 MW Punatsangchhu-II Hydroelectric Project, developed jointly by the Government of India and the Royal Government of Bhutan.
