India, Aug. 25 -- The Indian Army and the Royal Thai Army personnel will participate in the 14th edition of the Joint Bilateral Military Exercise- MAITREE at the Foreign Training Node in Umroi.
The training will be held between September 1 to September 14.
Speaking on the training, the Indian Army wrote on X: "The exercise is designed to further sharpen the operational capabilities of both armies in undertaking joint company-level counter-terrorism operations in semi-urban terrain, under the United Nations mandate - reflecting the shared commitment towards global peace and security."
