Kolkata/IBNS, July 12 -- A female student has been allegedly raped at the boys' hostel of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Joka in Kolkata days after West Bengal was roiled by the rape of a law student by three including a Trinamool Congress (TMC) functionary on the college campus, media reports said.

The accused, who is a second-year management student at the IIM Joka, has been arrested.

Upon gaining consciousness, she found herself lying in the boys' hostel. The victim has alleged she was raped in the unconscious state.

The complainant said she had approached the Thakurpukur Police Station that had redirected her to Haridevpur Police Station. IIM Joka falls in the Haridevpur PS area.
