India, Nov. 21 -- A class 4 student, who recently committed suicide in a Jaipur school, was ignored despite approaching her class teacher five times and seeking her support for 45 minutes over alleged bullying, media reports said.

Instead of supporting or helping the nine-year-old girl, the teacher shouted at her multiple times and said things that 'shocked the entire class', NDTV reported, quoting a probe report.

The victim felt cornered, having faced harassment for 18 months.
