Shimla/IBNS, July 7 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Kangana Ranaut on Sunday courted a row after the actress-politician said she had no "cabinet" or "funds" to provide relief to the people in the flood-hit areas of Himachal Pradesh's Mandi.

Kangana on Sunday visited the flood-hit areas where the Mandi MP claimed she was helpless in providing relief to the areas in the Congress-ruled state.

The Congress, which runs the government under Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, has called Kangana's remark "insensitive".

At least 78 people have died in Himachal Pradesh since the onset of monsoon.

Mandi suffered the most as the highest number of deaths was reported from the town.
