Hyderabad/IBNS, March 5 -- A 25-year-old software engineer committed suicide in Hyderabad, just six months after her wedding. Devika died by suicide at her Hyderabad home on Sunday night, media reports said.

Her husband Satish, also a techie, informed the police and Devika's family that she had hanged herself.

The couple got married six months back at a grand ceremony in Goa.

According to reports, Devika and Satish were colleagues and got into a relationship after they met at work.

They eventually decided to marry with content from both families. The wedding took place in August-end last year.

She did not respond to Satish's knocks and he assumed she was sleeping.
