Mumbai, Jan. 24 -- Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor starrer Fighter has been banned in all Gulf countries except UAE, media reports said.

The reason is not yet known.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has granted Fighter, which is directed by Siddharth Anand, a 'U/A' certificate after the removal of two scenes including one with "sexually suggested visuals".

Hrithik and Deepika, who share screen space for the first time in Fighter, will share a romantic bond in the film.

The film is slated to be released on January 25, 2024 on the occasion of the country's Republic Day (January 26).
