India, Feb. 6 -- At least 31 people were killed and 169 others injured after a suspected suicide bomber targeted a mosque in Pakistan's capital, Islamabad, during Friday prayers.

According to media reports, the explosion took place at Imambargah Khadijah al-Kubra in the Tarlai area of the federal capital. Several videos circulating on social media showed bodies scattered across the floor of the religious building as worshippers and rescuers rushed to help the injured and transport them to nearby hospitals.
