India, Jan. 5 -- A Hindu widow was allegedly gang-raped by two men in Bangladesh's Jhenaidah district, media reports said, in what is being described as yet another incident of violence against the minority community in the South Asian nation.
According to reports, the accused tied the woman's hands to a tree and forcibly cut her hair before assaulting her.
She alleged that Shahin repeatedly made indecent proposals and harassed her after she rejected his advances.
The woman said she lost consciousness following the assault due to severe physical and mental trauma. Local residents later rescued her and rushed her to Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital for treatment.
