Washington DC/IBNS, May 2 -- US Vice President JD Vance has said Washington hopes India's response to the Pahalgam terror attack doesn't lead to a broader regional conflict.

In the same line, Vance, whose India tour had coincided with the April 22 attack, said Pakistan should cooperate with India in the anti-terror operations.

Reacting to the Pahalgam attack fallout, US President Donald Trump earlier said India and Pakistan will figure out their border tension, which he claimed to be going on for 1,500 years.
