India, July 7 -- Hombale Films on Monday revealed the new poster of the upcoming period drama Kantara: Chapter 1, featuring actor-director Rishab Shetty taking a fearless and aggressive stance.

The poster shows Rishab in a fierce avatar.

The poster was released to mark the 42nd birthday of Rishab.

Sharing the poster, Hombale Films wrote on X: "Where legends are born and the roar of the wild echoes.#Kantara - A prequel to the masterpiece that moved millions."

The makers announced the movie will hit the silverscreen on October 2 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
