India, Oct. 7 -- At least 18 people were killed after a private bus was buried under debris following a massive landslide in the Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh late Tuesday evening.
According to officials, the bus, carrying around 30 passengers, was traveling from Rohtak in Haryana to Ghumarwin, near Bilaspur, when it was caught in a landslide in the Jhandutta assembly segment.
"In this massive landslide, tragic news has come of 10 people losing their lives after a private bus was caught in it, and there is apprehension that several others may be trapped under the debris," the Chief Minister posted on X.
