Cannes/IBNS, May 16 -- Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher reunited with legendary Hollywood star Robert De Niro at the 78th edition of Cannes Film Festival, which began on May 13.

In a video on Instagram, Kher shared the moment where he even got a kiss from De Niro with whom the Hindi film actor worked in 2012 Oscar-nominated film Silver Lining Playbook.

Kher is at the Cannes to attend the world premiere of his second directorial film, Tanvi The Great.

The actor told his fans that De Niro saw the poster Tanvi The Great and also met the crew members.

Tanvi The Great, an upcoming Hindi-language drama film, marks Anupam Kher's return as the director.

The film will be screened at Cannes on May 17.
