Mumbai/IBNS, Jan. 6 -- HDFC Bank shares declined for the second consecutive session on Tuesday after the lender released its business update for the third quarter of FY26, media reports said.

The shares fell 1.51 percent to hit a three-month low, trading at Rs.962.85 apiece in intraday deals on Tuesday, according to the report.

The decline came a day after the private sector lender announced its Q3 business update.

HDFC Bank reported a 12 percent year-on-year growth in loans, with gross advances rising to Rs.28.44 lakh crore in the December quarter of the current financial year.
