India, Sept. 24 -- A gunman opened fire at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility in Dallas on Wednesday, killing one person and injuring two others before being found dead himself, media reports said.
The incident unfolded around 6:40 a.m. in the 8100 block of North Stemmons Freeway.
"When officers arrived, they discovered three people had been struck by gunfire. Two were rushed to a local hospital, and one victim was pronounced dead at the scene," the department said in a statement.
Authorities confirmed the suspect was deceased but did not immediately specify whether he died by police fire or other means.
