India, Jan. 3 -- The makers of the upcoming Kannada film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups on Saturday unveiled the first look of actress Tara Sutaria from the film.

In the first-look poster, Tara is seen donning an off-shoulder gown while holding a gun, hinting at her fierce and unconventional character.

The release coincides with major festivals such as Gudi Padwa, Ugadi and Eid, positioning the film for a strong holiday weekend opening.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the action drama is set in a dark and gritty world shaped by crime, power and revenge.

The film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, and will also be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
