Gandhinagar, April 15 -- Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Wednesday went into self-quarantine after meeting a Congress MLA who has tested positive for the deadly Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19, media reports said.

The Gujarat government has reportedly said Rupani will stay in self-isolation as a precautionary measure.The meeting was also attended by several top government officials.However, Rupani will perform all his administrative duties via video conference.Across the country, 11,439 people including 1,306 cured and 377 deceased have been infected so far with Coronavirus.
