New Delhi, July 1 -- India's Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections for June 2025 rose to Rs.1.85 lakh crore, registering a 6.2% year-on-year increase from Rs.1.73 lakh crore collected in June 2024 - a sign of sustained economic activity and compliance momentum.
However, on a month-on-month basis, collections dropped 8.2% from May's all-time high of Rs.2.01 lakh crore, reflecting typical seasonal variations and clearance cycles.
For FY26, the government has projected an 11% rise in GST revenues, aiming for total receipts of Rs.11.78 lakh crore, which includes Central GST and compensation cess.
States such as Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan posted moderate gains of around 10%.
