India, Dec. 9 -- Google has confirmed plans to launch its next generation of AI-powered smart glasses in 2026, stepping up competition in the fast-growing wearable technology market dominated by players such as Meta.

In a blog post shared during its annual I/O conference, the tech giant revealed it is collaborating with Samsung, Gentle Monster, and Warby Parker to develop stylish, lightweight eyewear designed for comfortable all-day use.

Google noted that the upcoming product line will include two different types of smart glasses.
