India, Dec. 19 -- Curlie's, the popular beachside pub in North Goa, was sealed by the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) authorities on Friday as part of a crackdown on regulatory violations following a recent fire incident at Birch by Romeo Lane, media reports said.

The action comes after the Goa administration ordered a comprehensive inspection of nightlife establishments across the coastal belt to review compliance with licensing, fire safety and environmental norms.

During the inspection, authorities detected serious violations at Curlie's, prompting immediate enforcement action.
